Stitch Fix #4 - May 2015

I can't stop thinking about shopping.  It's a problem.  It was a problem in my 20's because I didn't have any money. Now it's still a problem in my 3o's because the money I now have I am supposed to save.

I am trying to spend more time envisioning my ideal closet and what it would have in it for Summer 2015.  It might look something like this:

Kimonos
Floppy hat
Caged sandals
Rompers
Maxi dresses
Layered necklaces
(more rompers)

The fun thing about Stitch Fix is you have a personal stylist who uses your styling profile that you create online to select 5 items for you for only $20!!!  (Now, those of you who go to Starbucks on a regular basis would only have to give up like 3-4 drinks for this service!)  If you keep one or more of the items they send you, the $20 'credit' you paid for the styling fee is subtracted from the total invoice.  As a bonus, if you buy all five items they send you, they give you a 25% discount.  PLUS - whatever you return you can ship back in a prepaid envelope absolutely free.  (Finally, something free!)

I had pinned a WHOLE bunch of things to my Pinterest board called Stitch Fix Inspiration, and I provide this link to my stylist.  In case you missed my previous post this is kinda how it works:

See it.  Like it.  Pin it.  Get it.  (Have I mentioned I like when things are easy?)

Ok, let's get to the good stuff..here are the details of my fourth box from Stitch Fix:

1) PIXLEY Lyra Printed Dress ($58)
2) PAPERMOON Norris Henley Top ($44)
3) LEVEL 99 Ibis Straight Leg Jean ($108)
4) LIVERPOOL Raphael Denim Jacket ($88)
5) MARKET & SPRUCE Corinna Striped Dolman Top ($48)

So, here is how I decided which items to keep:

PIXLEY Lyra Printed Dress ($58)

This dress is so soft and comfortable!  Plus I absolutely love the pattern for my 5' 8" height it falls right at knee-length.  It was love at first sight! Since I loved the next pants so much, I had to make a sacrifice and send this dress back.  The jeans are worth it though!!

Verdict: GOING BACK

PAPERMOON Norris Henley Top ($44)
LEVEL99 Ibis Straight Leg Jean ($108)

This high-lo top is exactly the style I love to pair with skinny jeans!  I adore the print and detail around the neckline!  The flowy style was just gorgeous!

The white cropped jeans that were also in my fix are amazing.  They are a bit stretchy and crop right at the ankle!  Perfect to pair with strappy sandals for summer (yes!)  I have to keep them as I have been looking desperately for a pair like this!

Verdict (pants): GET IN MY CLOSET
Verdict (top):  GET IN MY CLOSET

LIVERPOOL Raphael Denim Jacket ($88)

This is the best denim jacket I have ever tried on!  It is so soft and has a bit of stretch in it.  I have long arms and the jacket is the perfect length for me!  I am undecided about this one totally based on the price tag only!

Verdict: UNDECIDED

MARKET & SPRUCE Corinna Striped Dolman Top  ($48)

This top is a nice mint color and the style is very flattering!  It looked really cute paired with my Just Black distressed jeans from a previous fix!  It would be the perfect addition to my closet if I didn't already have something similar - darn!

Verdict: GOING BACK

MAY 2015 FIX = 2 new 'pretties' in my closet.
